ABOUT WOMEN’S MUSIC ALLIANCE

The Women’s Music Alliance (WMA) is a grassroots movement created to reshape the music industry into a more equitable, inclusive space for women and gender-diverse creatives.

Founded on the belief that representation, safety, and opportunity should be accessible to all, WMA exists to amplify underrepresented voices in music — on stage, behind the scenes, and in every corner of the industry. WMA connects artists, producers, songwriters and organizers through a network of women-led events across cities and communities.

By fostering a network of collaboration and mutual support, we create meaningful opportunities for performance, production, and artistic growth.

We believe in community over competition, and that lasting change happens when we build together.
